I do commercial/resi work. These are my favorite strippers. Comfortable ergo handles that don't slip. Don't break the bank in terms of cost. A wide range of wire sizes. Happy with build quality, price and durability. I replace them every 2-3 years depending on the abuse they receive.

I've tried many brands and styles, but this is it. Usually my pet name for Ideal Tools is Bad Deal Tools, but these have always been good and consistent. The ergonomic design, tool design, quality of the steel, and the handle grips. Nice quality product.

Better than my Klein and Milwaukee strippers ! Update: I’m torn because I want another pair. My first and second pair stopped opening and closing correctly after cutting screws. My first pair lasted awhile of having to cut them, the second pair *screwed* up the first day. Spring even messed up.

This is the stripper that you can carry in your pocket all day, and it doesn't make your leg sore. Its grips are comfortable and ergonomically efficient. The stripping holes are the right sizes for most jobs, and somehow have precise enough sizing to make a complete cut through the wire insulation without scoring the wire. The cutter, though a bit on the short side (which helps get your grip closer to the work surface), also works well and with a minimum of effort. It has 6-32 and 8-32 screw cutters. and the hinge bolt seems to stay put without loosening or seizing up; it stays tensioned appropriately. I have been an electrician for almost 20 years, and I have purchased this tool repeatedly ever since I discovered it. There are other strippers that are heavier and have more features, but this is the practical choice for everyday use.

I’m an commercial electrician and I’m Buying my second pair after 3 yrs of constant use and they finally wore out. For $20 how much more can you ask. I’ve used all of the higher prices Klein strippers and these are just as sharp for even longer and the handle design is so comfortable for all day use. Great product!

I have similar tools, but I could not pass up a temporary price drop on this one. It has proven to be excellent in form and function. It is currently my favorite, and has displaced the others in my primary wire kit.

Great strippers, very comfortable and sharp and last a long time considering that were not the nicest to them. They are great because they will strip big and small wires.

I finally found a decent wire stripper and the best part is it's Made in the USA. I found that the angled blade gives these arthritic old hands a little extra leverage when stripping larger gauges of wire.

Excellent qualities wire strippers. Worth the extra cost to have the screw shears. Still nice and tight after shearing many 6-32" screws.
