Good for the 4th grade band but get an additional cloth.
Bought this for my daughter to use on her second hand band flute and it works just fine. I did not give it five stars as the included cleaning cloth is tiny. After some research I gave her a silk hanky scarf I've had forever and now it all works perfectly. She holds the flute with the included cloth and uses the silk to clean inside. Then she switches and holds flute with silk while polishing outside with included cloth. Her flute now looks very shiny and sounds just great.

Does its job.
Great for cleaning inside my flute with little microfiber strips that I make. Plastic is probably more safe. Perhaps you could also blow bubbles with it.

get a metal one
broke within the first few uses. Should have gotten a metal one for a few bucks more.

Cloth too thick
The cloth gets stuck in flute. Unable to use this cloth. It's too thick.

Won't scratch your silver flute
The cleaning rod is great. I bought it as a replacement for a yard sale rescue I'm fixing up. The cloth is kind of worthless.

Nice cleaning cloth. This product should only cost pennies, but this was the most economical choice on Amazon's market.

It's great. It's a plastic flutie cleaning rod and it won't scratch my flute. It's the normal size and I like it.
