Finally, one that actually HELPS.
Okay, my Lab mix is crazy. I'm telling you *crazy* - and not only that but she is an amazing escape artist. Her trainer is always amazed at the things she can free herself from. To date she has gotten out of an easy walker, gentle leader (she uses her dew claws to remove the nose loop if you don't watch closely), step in harness, over the head harness, regular collars, and on one occasion she about got herself out of a martingale! She's nutty on walks so I was constantly on a search for a better tool to help me walk her. (She is 75lbs, but honestly it feels like 150lbs when she gives you a good jerk. She has taken me down multiple times, as well as several trainers.) The gentle leader was my only tool for quite a while, it allowed me to control her and finally begin walking her outdoors again. Then a problem arose. After over a year of wearing the gentle leader as part of her regular routine (she never did get used to it as 'they' promised), she finally found a way to get me to take it off. On walks she began to drag her face along the ground, scratching her nose up. Fantastic! Another tool I'm going to have to ditch. In one of her classes, our instructor pulled out the Sense-ible harness and put it on her as a trial run. I was hesitant, because the easy walker harness had made zero difference in her behavior. But...........she amazed me! With this harness she behaved in a similar manner to if I had put on her gentle leader, but she wasn't going crazy trying to get it off her. I came right home, found the best price here on Amazon and bought this harness. Hoping for the best. To my amazement it still worked! Now don't get me wrong, I don't have the same amount of control over her that I did with a gentle leader, but this is a small price to pay for a dog that is happier on a walk and doesn't spend her time trying to tear her face apart. I'm happy with the purchase and I would buy it again.

Finally the solution to my dog pulling!
My dog has pulled terribly on the leash forever, which I suppose reflects poorly on my training abilities as a dog owner, but here we are. I've tried every kind of harness and it hasn't helped. I've tried the Halti and other snout harnesses and it just makes the poor pup miserable and I can't do that in good conscience. But from the first time I put this on, the pulling stopped instantly. And no pulling since. It's been quite incredible to see - highly recommend!

Discourages pulling
The front clip turns our large enthusiastic dog around when he tries to run after a squirrel or other attraction. The side rings let me attach a seatbelt lead to keep him in the back seat so he doesn't surf on the console to help me drive on our way to the park. Take extra time to adjust the belly and chest bands so the chest band is in the center of his chest and the belly band is not too loose or too tight.

Priceless!
I’m a veterinarian. A trainer recommended this brand years ago and it’s what I use for my own dogs and recommend to clients. It’s a great no-pull harness.

Lean and mean
I love how you rate the comfort for these dog products (how should I know?!). Anyways, I got my first one of these harnesses at Blue Collar Working Dog (a store in Echo Park, CA) and I went straight there from the shelter where I rescued this large pitbull that was admitted to the shelter as a stray more than a year prior, with bite marks all over his face. My guess is he's big and can hold his own, but he probably doesn't have the heart to win fights, and so they let him go. Works for me, as he appears to be slowly forgetting the past as he slips into something more comfortable. The attendant at the Blue Collar store recommended this harness after seeing my guy, because she said the harnesses with a buckle for the leash on their back, doesn't phase the dog, doesn't communicate anything, whereas with the loop on his chest, he can feel the tug a bit more and I can get his attention better that way. She was right and though he still pulls right out the gate, once he starts getting tired, things get better. This harness is also quite durable. I just purchased my first replacement and haven't even worked it into the rotation yet. The old one has been working hard for almost 3 years now and is just starting to fray. Highly recommended.
