USA Standard Gear (ZK GM8.6) Master Overhaul Kit for GM 8.6 Differential

This quality install kit was just what I needed to change out my gear set. Shims provided thickness adjustments and the seals look good quality. Bearing size was spot on and overall it functioned flawlessly. No excessive noise from the pumpkin and the gears mesh well.

Short summary: Parts are great and customer service is better - Thank you Troy!!! This is an amazing company. I ordered the kit expecting a baffle and pinion oil slinger to be included. Thinking it was an error (after turning my shop upside down thinking I lost them) I had ordered a replacement. That kit too did not have the pinion baffle or oil slinger. Discouraged, I looked at the packing slip and called the 888 number. Troy picked up on like the 2nd ring and took care of me! After explaining my frustration at the project and very willing to pay Troy is sending them out free of charge 2day delivery.Troy, you are tha man! I sincerely appreciate you and I'm just sad I didn't have the confidence to call sooner.I will be getting all my gearing equipment from Drivetrain America moving forward.

Most parts included are great quality. Bearings are by Koyo, made in Japan. That is what's used on Toyota's Hondas etc. The only thing I didn't like was the cast steel pinion nut. Casting was not that great but it worked fine.

Good product, 8 months later open up the case to throw a different rear gear & bearings look in good shape, only thing wrong I received the wrong pinion seal in the kit besides that it was solid

This kit was just what I needed to get the differential set up and put together. It came with all the shims, bearings, seal and new nut.

I received the box this morning with only the rear inspection plate cover gasket inside, no bearings no nothing except a gasket and I really need these brgs bad , the box has - had no tape anywhere it just opened up !! Please send these out ASAP !! Thanks Drewey
