Good replacement option for existing salt cell
They no longer make replacement salt cells for our existing Breeze pool chlorine generation system, so it was nice to find this option which also fit our current model vs. needing to replace the whole system when everything else still works.I can't speak to it's durability/long-term performance since we just installed it, but the fit was perfect and it is working great so far.

waste of money
new cell does not work. Pool professional told me they had a rash of bad ceiis he has encountered. you're rolling the dice buying this replacement cell. Good luck

Nice improvements and very effective Chlorinator
This was my first time replacing the original cell in my Wave 40 salt water pool system. The original one lasted a little more than six years. This version appears to be slightly beefier construction including plate attachment and power connections to the plates.It rapidly generates chlorine and easily maintains the proper level even in our typically very hot climate.

doesn't last long
bought the cmp 540 replacement cell 2 years ago... now not producing much chlorine out of it.. despite cleaning it... very expensive for an item that is supposed to last 5 or more years ... not recommended..

Started generating chlorine immediately. Fit perfectly.
Worked great with our existing Breeze unit. It generated chlorine for our inground pool.
