Love these lights! Three settings are awesome and I love that they will shut off automatically after 8 hours. My favorite thing about these lights are the battery/on/off switch fits nicely inside the lid of a jar. All others are bulky and you have to hang it outside of the jar lid. It doesn't look good. These fit right inside the lid so it is hidden it. I velcro them inside the lid so that its hidden, convenient to turn on and/or change the settings and when you have to change the battery it can be easily removed and then reattached. The lights are bright and it makes my hand painted jars look perfect. Best lights I have found for adding to jars or vases.

Caveat: I have not used these so I cannot speak to function in use. I am returning them because I am no longer doing the project I needed them for but wanted to give some feedback.These have what I think are hard to find qualities for lights in a small package and are a good value. I was looking for: 1) a short string 2) a light button battery pack 3) a timer function. That is kind of hard to find. I have lots of longer strings with 3 and 4 AA battery packs. These are hard to use for projects that require hanging. I didn’t even pay attention to the flashing but that is an added feature.One thing to keep in mind is that anytime you turn them on, they are on a timer. So if you want a solid “on” this will not do that. There is also no option to adjust the timer to a certain period of time. But I have not seen that in fairy lights.Bottom line is I would consider buying these again if I need this type of light in the future. In fact, i would have considered keeping them if I had bought white instead of purple.

Really liked the lights , but battery didn't last ( of course that can happen with batteries) Came on in evenings as said it would but only lasted about a week, didn't realize it took two batteries thought just one, but worked great when working. Used to wrap around decoration, you had two choices steady or chasing. Would buy again after testing new batteries

I did not read the description close enough to find out these lights only last for about 24 hours and they use 2 button batteries. This is a very short length of time for using 2 batteries. The lights are not bright either. I had 2 different colors of white lights showing on the strings,

I bought these for my Christmas villages. I loved the lights, were bright and timer function was wonderful. The problem I had is I read in reviews batteries would last a long time and assumed one battery per string so all would be good. BUT the batteries only lasted 2-3 nights on the 6 hour timer and each string takes 2 batteries. I returned because replacing 2 batteries every 3 days in 6-10 strings would cost a fortune. For occasional use these would be great.

Good Lights and bright. Changing the battery was not easy, the screwdriver that comes with the set is mot functional, but i found a really good screwdriver that worked so easy, Its magnetic Precision Screwdriver Sets, Small Torx 5-in-1 Screwdrivers. Now I can have these lights to use for many occasions since Im able to change the batteries when needed

These are great little lights and I absolutely love how small the battery pack is making it easy to hide. I've looked everywhere and couldn't find anyone else who sells fairy lights with a battery pack this compact which is why I went with these. The only bummer is some of my strands the timer won't work and since purchasing I've used several and they seem to burn out very quickly. Two of them quit working after a week. I may have just received a bad batch because it looks like most people had good results with them. I contacted the seller and they quickly sent me a partial refund. Wonderful customer service. I plan on giving these another chance and purchasing more in the future.
