We have a 13 year old Standard Schnauzer with hip dysplasia and pancreatitis. LOOBANI Dog Sling is perfect. Occasionally, he can walk up the stairs without assistance. If he needs assistance, the sling works perfectly! Just enough to give him a little lift. The fleece lining is very soft. We need to be gentle on his belly due to the pancreatitis, while assisting him with his back hips. Thank you LOOBANI!

This truly made my dogs life better. My senior shepherd mix started to have trouble with her hind legs and within days, couldn't stand up on her own. She was a large dog so as you can imagine, her and I had a rough time figuring out how to help her up. She was happy and healthy but those back legs and hips were tired, weak, and becoming more painful.It drove her nuts that she couldn't get herself up whenever she wanted and it drove me nuts that it was such a struggle to help her up. I decided to look in to something to just give her and myself some help. I'm glad I came across this one.It arrived quickly which we definitely needed. It was pretty much ready to go as soon as opening and was straightforward. The stitching all looked perfect and well done. The inside material was one of the things I liked most. It was soft and added to the comfortability. There was no strong smell to it. The straps were attached really well and I'm still shocked they held up.I used this multiple times a day, everyday for a year. It never ripped, frayed, or anything. I cleaned it and it was like new. At times, it held a large part of my dogs weight, she was over 150+ lbs. Just the quality alone was worth the price. My dog never had irritation or showed discomfort with use.I have nothing but good to say, it was a big help for us. The fact it helped me help my dog, is priceless. She was able to go for walks, go potty outside, stretch her legs, and enjoy herself. It kept my back pain at a minimum and I enjoyed the time spent helping my girl.I highly recommend this if you are looking for a lift aid. Do keep in mind if you have a large dog, you will still strain but it will help immensely. Good luck with your pups.

Quality product, works like a dream, perfect size for my 63 lb dog. Adjustable length strap handles work very well. A must for older dogs that have rear hip degeneration

This is a very nice product, but it is not proportioned to properly hold up the back legs of my 20# dachshund. My dog slips around forwards and backwards and cannot easily balance on his front legs because this is not wide enough for his long body. Traditionally proportioned dogs, I’m sure, would find great comfort with this to help his/her owner to help him/her get out the front door to go to the bathroom then get back in the house simply and quickly without taking extra time buckling things. Really nice simple and quick grab and go solution for when your dog needs a simple quick solution to help with their getting around. Even though I had to return this, I just know it would serve a traditionally, proportioned dog really, really well.

I don't often do reviews, but I just had to with this one. Our furbaby Lexa was having knee surgery and I went to Amazon for assistance. This sling is a true lifesaver, for her and for me. Before surgery, I had to lift her into the car (80 pound chub chub) and it was a struggle. She couldn't jump due to degraded knee cap. When surgery was on the books, I found this sling to assist with her 12 week recovery period (we are in week 2). This sling has helped in so many ways!1. To assist in lifting in and out of vehicle2. Walking her with assistance out to potty and back to bed per doctors orders3. controlling her when her pain meds kick in and she thinks she is going to just spurt off on a run (BELIEVE ME, it happens alot) it prevents her from hurting herself because she forgets she can't walk, let alone run with her new hardware and knee that is still fusing together and brittle and causing more damage or undoing what the surgery just corrected).4. It helps me get her in and out of her kennel since she can't put full weight on her leg yet.5. It helps me get her up after taking a break out of her kennel and resting comfortably next to us in the evenings.6. It has a dual purpose LOL I toss the handle strap over her head, and hold onto the other end, and it makes for a great harness control so that she feels unconstrained, but I can predict her attempt to get up or off her bed before she can do it.*If you have a senior dog or any age dog, that just needs that little extra help for any reason, GET THIS SLING NOW. I love that I am able to adjust the strap length, depending on if I am taking her out or if my husband is. super easy and doesn't slip loose like some adjustable straps. I is super soft under her tummy, she doesn't object to it at all and when pottying, gives her a comfortable yet sturdy support so that when she goes to posture for pottying, allows her to go without fear of over using her leg. Can't say enough about this product. So if you dog is going into surgery and you need to create a towel sling, my thought is ok, that will work in a pinch but if you are taking your dog out, day and night several times a day, and you have to adjust your posture to allow for a towel to support them, it's going to get uncomfortable for you, and the death grip on said towel, pretty quickly. Love this and as stated, a true lifesaver!
