Quest Native Spirit 40"" Kick Tail Longboard Skateboard, 40-Inch, Multicolor (QT-GNK40C)

I received my order within a few days. And there were no dings or scratches on it. The first thing I did was flip the trucks so it'd carve better. The pattern on the bottom looks exactly like it does in the pictures. It looks and feels high quality. I've had mine for a few weeks and have gone on gravel, sand, and dirt paths. And it hasn't worn down the pattern at all. The wheels it comes with are great surprisingly. If you like them there's really no need to upgrade. But if you do I'd recommend Orangatang in heat wheels, they're amazingly smooth and durable. But two things you need to do is flip the hangars and loosen the nuts holding the wheels on. The board comes with the nuts super tight on the wheels, making the wheels stop quickly. Which in turn makes you have to work harder, loosen them only a little. You don't want the wheels to be able to jerk side to side, so be careful. Flipping your hangars will allow you to make sharper turns. If you do those two things and don't upgrade anything else, this board will be an amazing board for the price. But two things I strongly recommend swapping out is the bushings and bearings. I'd reccomend bone reds bearings, they'll make your wheels spin longer. Making you go further and faster with each push. And I'd reccomend upgrading the bushings with Orangatang purple nipples. They will let you make sharper turns, make the ride smoother, and get rid of the cracking noise the stock bushings create when turning. This is my first longboard and I couldn't be more happy with it. You cannot beat this quality at this price. I'd reccomend it to anyone looking to get into longboarding.

The first thing I should point out is that I got this on sale for an incredibly low price, based on that it gets 5 stars. There are TWO critical changes you should make, once you've done that this board is close to any entry-level Sector Nine board. First, you MUST flip the hangers (there are YouTube videos that show it's done). The board will carve a LOT better once you've flipped them. Second, get new bushings (I got Orangatang Purple Nipples for $13 and they improved the handling even further, and no squeaking). The stock wheels are "OK", I replaced mine with Sector Nine Steam Rollers (not shown), but even if all you do is flip your hangers you'll be loving this board. The deck itself isn't very flexy, I weigh about 165 lbs. and it has the same stiffness of a 'normal' vert board. It has a mellow concave and a decent kick tail. The graphics tend to wear off where you grab the board the most, but for this price point it doesn't bother me. The deck feels comfortable, even for all day cruises at Venice Beach. The deck seems tough too, no cracks or chips (yet). I am more of a "cruiser" and "carver" than a downhiller. I have done a few minor downhills, one I do on regular basis is long - over a minute of drop, all carving. I've really been digging this board. I had wanted to get a longboard for years but thought I had to toss in at least $100 to snag one. When I saw that this was on Amazon for relatively cheap and also got good reviews from a variety of sites I picked one up.I've skateboarded in the past but never with a longboard so I was excited to try it out. If you're not doing tricks this is definitely the way to go. Fun for cruising its much more leisurely than a standard board. Better for traveling too if you want something to ride down to the gas station or cruise a few blocks to a friends place.It's a good size too. I know you can go smaller or bigger. I'm 6'4 and found this board worked pretty well for me but I don't think it would be too small for others either. The design is pretty nice as well. I haven't used it a lot since I got it but so far no hardware problems either.

This board is very stable and provides the rider a decent amount of control, after some slight but easy modifications. I rode it for about an hour and a half to get a feel for it, and out of the box it's good for some general cruising around the block. The grip tape is nice and sticky, the board turns decently well, the wood is extremely solid, and the wheels are pretty alright. After riding around some back roads, I decided to swap the bearings out for some Reds, and that's easily doubled or tripled my riding distance from before. I also loosened the trucks a little, and I'm also going to wax the bushings as there is some squeaking going on. This is a great board and with some modifications, it can easily be one of the best longboards you could ever have. Do not hesitate to get this beautiful board (By the way, the design is AMAZING. The picture does not do it any justice).

Came fast, looks really nice, pretty easy to ride. It needed some work when I first got it, though. Some of the bolts attaching the truck to the board hadn't been screwed in tight enough so the base of the truck wiggled, the trucks themselves were too tight and the bushings were too hard for me (but I'm pretty light) and squeaky. Could probably also use some new bearings too. But most of that (except bushings and bearings) can be fixed without buying anything. Just needs some tweaking. Great board for the price.

No complaints! Feels like a high quality board. I was skeptical to place this order as I had learnt/ practiced on a Quest Tribe board, which is a pintail. This in comparison is a little different but betterin ways indescribable. Quest Cruiser has the most ratings however Wouldn’t know what to do with the extra length, (Cruiser is 4” longer). I believe mine came from Warehouse deals, so I was expecting a banged up board, the box was, but not the board itself. My board was wrapped in plastic and the edges were wrapped in styrofoam. The board even had a tag hanging, from the trucks as if it was a piece of clothing. Look no further : best beginners’ board.

If you are thinking about getting a longboard but are hesitant about the type like me. (I took over a week to decide which one to get) say no more. This longboard is awesome. I take it everywhere in all seasons. Except for winter of course only because we can't longboard on snow. If we could I'd probably use it in winter too XD

It’s such a good quality board. I’m a heavy guy and it easily can support me. My daughter and I have a blast on our longboards and it’s been easy to learn how to ride again using this board. I will certainly purchase another one once this board has been all used up.

So far 4 months in I had learned how to longboard on this baby. Bearings are holding up well even after being splashed with some muddy water. I managed to chip the nose on a metal bench, but that was my fault, some epoxy glue and clamps did the trick. This helps me keep fit and enjoy while doing it.

Me encantó, es mi primer longboard, peso 80 kg y sin problema. Ya había usado una quicksilver de un amigo y esta no le pide nada, cuesta una tercera parte y se siente exactamente igual. El diseño y el terminado son de muy buena calidad. Compraré otra con otro diseño sin dudarlo.

De lo mejor, me encanto y la relacion precio calidad esta super bien !
