Good little pump but does not have on/off switch on back end
I've had a similar Fimco 1gpm pump (model 5275496 with on/off switch) for several years now and use it to pump a cleaning solution through my instant heat gas water heater to clean the red iron and calcium deposits in the heat exchanger. Granted I only use it once or twice a year; but it let it circulate the solution for 2-3 hrs non-stop. I flush it out after each use with fresh water and so far it has worked fine every year. This pump is basically the same but DOES NOT have the on-off switch as stated in the ad. Aside from that it's has worked just fine. I'm using this pump on a backpack sprayer which has a pressure regulator so I don't use the pressure switch on the end of the pump. I didn't bother rewiring to bypass the switch as I only use around 10-20psi for spraying. The excess flow/pressure is recirculated into the sprayer tank to keep the solution mixed. Overall I've been well pleased with this 1gpm pump and even though I saw some lower price products advertised I've got good history with the Fimco product so buying a second one was a no brainer.

Easy replacement
Works good. Would have preferred slight more pressure, but ok.

Make your own sprayer
I mounted this pump on a small 12 volt battery on a small Milwaukee hand cart from Home Depot. I used my Pro Solo shoulder mounted manual sprayer and the spray wand it came with. Works better than the 150.00 electric sprayer that I use for the garden. I wanted a separate sprayer for using Roundup and other similar products. Plenty of pressure for my one acre garden and fruit tree area.July 2019: Pump has stopped working again. Any suggestions for a different pump?UPDATE: January 18, 2019. After one use the motor has failed! I did the troubleshooting process and touched both red wires in the pressure control and the motor works. This indicates a defective pressure switch. I am getting a free replacement. It performed great while it worked. Will see how long this one lasts. Down to 3 stars for now.The Fimco troubleshooting instructions were very useful. The pump and battery were were secured with heavy duty zip ties. I even used the original hose and extended it with brass fittings.

Pump replacement for Tractor Supply sprayer.
Quick shipment and same mounting holes as pump replaced on Tractor Supply 13 gallon sprayer. It has plenty of flow to the wand and automatically recirculates when spray wand is closed. The only negative is that the new pump does not have an on/off switch on the pump and you have to add on to the wiring.

Misleading advertising.
Tank was fine, but the pump, that comes with it very weak, doesn't have much pressure, advertised, to spray 20 feet, it won't spray 4 feet if that, very disappointed in it, for the price, now I am looking for a stronger pump to put on it so that I can use it.

No on/off switch!
Please not that this unit does not have an on/off switch (my old one does) so you will need an inline switch for the wire that connects to your battery. Otherwise it works fine. Also, after just a few days use, the red wire broke inside the motor case a the circuit breaker terminal. The red wire has a very small circuit breaker inline inside the motor case and not mounted but has shrink tubing around it. A small pull can break one of the two connections. The unit just quit while using. I replaced the motor with my years old motor (the pressure switch had failed). I then took the new motor apart and soldered the wire back to the circuit breaker so I now have a spare motor. Most people would not be able to make this repair.

Relatively inexpensive and easy to replace
I bought the pump as a replacement for a pump that came on wheel-mounted sprayer. The replacement pump exactly matched the mounting, electrical, and fluid connections. This sprayer has no air cushion so the pump often rapidly cycles on and off in response to liquid pressure in the hose, which means the pressure switch takes a beating (has a short life).

Completely satisfied
Replaced the pump on a 15 gallon lawn sprayer, replacement is identical to the original and was a quick swap out! Works perfectly.
