Metropolitan Museum of Art Boxed Notecards, French Style

The box these adorable cards came in is the best part about these informal notecards...besides the cats of course! The paper quality on the card is average and sort of a semi gloss, however they are not shiny on the writing surface which is nice. The envelopes leave a little to be desired but they serve the purpose of a thoughtful gift or a nice little note, especially for a fellow cat lover!

The box accurately represents the card it depicts in the card set. The pictures cover the front of the cards and are lovely. The paper quality is good. All pen types seem to work well with this card. The glue on the envelope isn't sharp or off putting. The card box is of great quality and sturdy construction. I am very happy with this product.

These are absolutely beautiful- great quality in both paper and printing. My only disappointment is that I went to the seller's website and found the same cards listed at a lower price. The only thing I can think of is the price on Amazon is higher in order to cover the free shipping for Prime members. The seller does change shipping on their website. Still, disappointed.

Beautiful cards in a quality weight of paper--all in a little box for storage. These are just what I wanted and I use them for sending all kinds of notes--sympathy, how are ya?, etc. They are so much nicer than greeting cards and much less expensive. You won't be disappointed if you order these!!!

These cards come so nicely boxed and the picture is so attractive I was excited to get them.Imagine the disappointment when I opened the box to find that the beautifully vibrant Peacock feather shown in the picture was really comprised of lifeless, muted blue tones. The second design is also a Peacock feather. The colors are also dull and lifeless but in various shades of green. The cards I received have none of the vibrancy as captured in the photo.For those of you who remember the old Spyrograph game from the 70s where pens of different colors were attached to a plastic arm that is then moved around a piece of paper creating repeating geometric patterns, the remaining two designs, also muted, dull colors of green and red, will be nostalgic.The envelopes are plain white.Having said all that these cards are still attractive and seem best suited for men.

I really love these notecards. They are a smaller size, perfect for a quick note where you don't want a ton of blank space to fill. The box that the notecards come in has a magnetic closure so that the lid doesn't flop around and allow notecards to fall out or anything. The paper used to make the cards is a high quality card stock, and the pictures are printed with a good resolution. I write with an ink pen, and it glides very nicely on the page although does need a short time to dry so that it doesn't smear. I have purchased five varieties of this brand notecard, and have been very pleased with each set. I would buy again in a heart beat once I have used the ones I have. I also like the fact that I am supporting an art museum with my purchase. This is my favorite blank notecard style and brand!

Note cards turn out to be fabulously useful, I've found, and these are pretty and perfect for a variety of occasions. As you would expect, the artwork is outstanding.Update . . . love the cards . . . Posted a photo of them and the envelopes. The envelopes are white . . .

They don't look luminous like the one online. Instead they are rather flat and ugly. Would not have bought had I known.
