Was worried it wouldn't work, but so easy!
A waterpark incident found my key fob soaking in the baggy of water that was meant to protect it. After letting it sit overnight in a bag of rice, I had some function back, but the buttons I use the most were dead. I had another key fob that had stopped working some time ago even with a new battery, but each key would start the minivan, but I was not sure they were "working" well enough to meet the needs of programming a new key. I took a chance since the cost of a replacement at the dealer was rediculous. I followed the instructions exactly, but I never heard an audible tone as stated in the instructions, so I started over, worried that once I put the replacement key in, it would somehow fail and I would lose the ability to reprogram.I kept my eye on the flashing light noted in the instructions on the second go around, again, no audible tone, but it worked like a charm. Not only did this program the new key, but the other key fob that was not working at all would up being reprogrammed as well, so now I have 2 and a half functional keys. The one with my two favorite buttons not working is now a backup and I have pulled the emergency key out of it to put in the replacement so I do not have to pay to have the new key cut.My only issue is the fit of the key fob in the ignition. It feels rough going in and when I went to take it out, it wasn't a smooth action. I am sure this will wear a bit and will be smoother over time, but I was worried it was stuck for a nano second. The weight of it is also lighter than the original. Not a complaint, just an observation. Overall, I am very happy.UPDATE: after a few weeks of use, I have found the following:1. Range for remote start is poor. You really need to be close to get the remote start to work, about 50 feet. I'll have to try new batteries.2. The roughness described above has not improved and in fact seems to be worse, like it's about to fall apart when I turn it in the ignition.3. The key only works now in one position in the ignition. Whatever sensor is in there to make the key fob turn on the engine seems to be weaker and I now have only one way to put the key fob in to make it work whereas it used to function either way.

For the price, this is definitely worth it. We were able to take the two key-fobs into the dealership and have them programmed for $64. So all in all it came out to around $95 for two remotes. This is hundreds less than if we purchased it at the dealership. The materials do seem to be lighter weight that the original (one piece where the door key slides in and out is plastic on this and metal on the original). They may not hold up as long, but we feel the savings are worth the try. The website has instructions for manual programming up to 2009 I think. There is a YouTube video with instructions for a 2010. Ours is a 2011, and had to be taken in to the dealership to be programmed. I think anything beyond 2011 has to go in.

It's a good fob with one issue
What I love about this is that mine all stopped working for my 2010 Town and Country and this worked right away. I had to use some hack I found on YouTube to set it up since my to fobs were not working, but it all worked out. My only complaint is that when I pull out the fob it sometimes presses the panic and the alarm goes off. I think it because the buttons are a soft rubber and it sits up slightly and just gets pushed on the way out. If I pay attention I can make sure I put pressure going the opposite way of the panic button when I take the key out of the ignition, but sometimes I forget and off goes the horn. Still, I am happy to have a working fob at a fair price.Shipped quick.

2012 MUST GO TO DEALERSHIP - GREAT BUY!!
If you have a 2012 Town and Country you MUST take these to the dealership to program. I talked with a locksmith and they told me they would not do it - that the way most locksmiths do it is a hack and they don't want to do that. My dealership charged me $50 to program two of these and they even cut the valet key for me (only asked them to program). They work well - the range isn't as good as the ones that came with the car but now I have two spares. The fit is tighter when you use them - you have to rock them back and forth a little - but again now I have four keys instead of two - and if one gets broken no big deal. The service guy at the dealership thought these were pretty good too - I have the BEST Chrysler dealership of ANYWHERE. I would buy these again - well worth the money!

Good fob key for exterior replacement if you have original circuit board, or if you follow instructions on your make/model
Liked it very much, however my model/year of car was NOT listed on the instructions, so I was not able to program the fob key. However, I had the original key, so I took it apart and removed the inner circuit board and replaced it into the new fob key, and then pealed the sticker that allows you to press buttons from the provided circuit board and pasted it on the old circuit board. So now it works perfectly fine, because the old circuit board is inside the new fob key. Definitely will repeat business with them for my 2nd key.

What can I say? It looks exactly like the original and appears to be of the same quality. I have a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country and noticed the accompanying programming instructions indicated 2010+ vehicles must be programmed by an automotive locksmith or dealer. However, I followed the programming instructions and the unit functions exactly like the original. The power tailgate and side doors worked immediately. The remote start worked but had minor issues. 1st attempt the engine shut down after running only two or three seconds, but continued to run on subsequent start-ups. Once in the running vehicle, putting the fob in the ignition, and turning it to "ON", the engine shut down, but restarted when the fob was turned to "START". Haven't taken it for a drive yet, but I doubt there will be any problems.

If you only have one existing key you have to go to dealer for programming. Went to the dealer and the key was programmed in a matter of minutes. The Dodge dealer did it for 40 bucks. The dealer I bought the van from wanted 70 bucks. Shop around if you have several dealers nearby you may save a few bucks. If you have 2 programmed keys and buy this as an extra you can do the programming yourself. The key comes with a website link with directions on how to do this.

Frustrating waste of money
I had to pay for programming before I could assess the product quality. It was unpredictable and now has completely stopped working. The dealership isn’t going to program a new fob for free, so I’m out that money plus the original purchase price. Money lost to poor quality is very aggravating.
