I have had it for five months now and it is still securely stuck on my dash board. It holds my LG Optimus fuel perfectly and is easily maneuver to any position I want. *UPDATE* With recent hot and humid weather, the adhesive started to come off. I replaced it with some outdoor heavy duty double sided tape. So far so good.

My 2004 Toyota Tacoma has few flat (non-curved) surfaces on which to attach phone mounts. This one fits the bill very nicely. > Small footprint > Strong adhesive > Strong but minimal jaws that don't obstruct the phone buttons or cable inputs > Swivels to various angles > The cable clip on the side is nice for hanging my audio out cord As another reviewer noted, the description incorrectly states that it includes an optional screw mount. No screw mount is included (see the comments on this review for some clarification by an Arkon VP). The mount does shake a bit on moderately rough roads. This is not a problem unless you are using it while recording video. The first one I purchased I mounted high on the front of my dash just to the right of the steering wheel. This is used for mounting a phone for podcast listening and for the use of navigation apps. It appears to me the shake is due primarily to the give of the thick cushiony adhesive. Again, the shake isn't a problem with this particular use case. The second mount I purchased I mounted on the windshield to hold an old iPhone to use as a dashcam and the shake was enough to affect the quality of the videos. So I removed the adhesive and instead used some thinner non-cusiony very strong double-sided exterior car trim tape. Also, I put the mount low enough on the windshield so that the bottom of it rested on the dash to give in support while recording video. I am now very happy with this solution! I need to add some photos for context. Perhaps I will add them at some point.

This car phone holder is a great replace for the one that I had which broke after several years (from another manufacturer). I needed one that would fit the over the ball that I currently have on the holder in my car. The only issue I have is the developers didn't think about the cases people have on their phones and finger holders that go on the back of phones. So the "arms" of this phone holder aren't long enough to accommodate my phone with its case and finger holder. I have to carefully place my phone in the holder towards the bottom of the phone and not touch it or it will pop out of the holder on to the floor. This is not convenient if it's used to navigate directions on the phone screen because a person needs to zoom in or out to see the map & directions. So if the company decides to update this product or make another product that's the same but with longer "arms" to accommodate this scenario, I'd buy it and give it 5 stars as long as the ball opening is the same as this product. I did try a different phone with a case & no finger holder and the phone holder grips the phone tightly. A person can insert the phone with one hand with practice since it does grip the phone tightly.

Doesn’t stick and came right off

Wow just wow great product easy and beyond my imagination of it's quality and easiness of installation and durability. Works great and just made my day to finally have something this great and none magnetic interrupting for my phone that holds great and is out of the way and blends right in 5+ stars on this great item.

It did not stick at all. I put it in my car the night I got it and let it sit for over 24 hours before I used it. Came in and put my phone on it and it fell off right away. Idk if its just cause its so cold right now in ND but I am very frustrated.

Works well as advertised. It holds my phone in place quite well. The mount wasn't cleaned properly before putting the 3M tape. The mount fell off the adhesive side after a week. I ended up getting a heavier duty double side tape and really cleaned the mount well with alcohol pads as well as my car and it has been working well since. I've had it for about 6 months now.

Using just double stick foam tape that's included was not stable enough so I used two screws to attach to the radio bezel on my 06 Ram. Still shakes a little but would pry be fine in a car. Works well for my iPhone 7.
