Moen 3919 2.2 GPM Male Thread Kitchen Faucet Aerator, Chrome

I read other reviews before purchasing this aerator. Some said it wasn't a genuine Moen part; others said it wasn't 2.2 GPM. Rubbish!! This is an absolutely original Moen part and is definitely 2.2 GPM. For one thing, it says Moen on it clearly (someone said it didn't), and for another thing, I replaced a 1.5 GPM with it and the water pressure difference was huge. These are not easy to find, and for anyone tempted to buy a "universal" aerator, please don't! Moen parts are the absolute best. I bought this for my Moen kitchen faucet and it worked like a charm. I had an extra which even fit my 1980s American Standard white bathroom faucet to perfection. This is chrome finish, but it certainly looks far better than the old chipped white aerator. Great product, great water pressure, and oh so easy to install! 10 stars!!

After cleaning small debris a number of times from my original ne, and eventually still having issues with spray pattern, this replacement did the trick. I used this on a Delta brand kitchen faucet. But many are universal regardless of brand. This included a new rubber gasket and fit right on.

These are great. I tried the other brands that were less money but they either had too much flow or not enough. Pay a little more and get these because the flow rate is perfect which is what you'd expect from Moen.

You will need a pair of channel-lock pliers to loosen the old one and tighten the new one, and a towel so the pliers don't leave teeth marks on the aerator.A quick glance at a YouTube video will clear any questions you have on the procedure: loosen the old one with the pliers and unscrew it with your fingers, reach inside the tap with your fingers and pry out the black washer if it hasn't come out with the old aerator. Then, screw the new aerator in, and tighten it with the pliers. You are done.

The single control faucets that MOEN makes don't need to have less-than-commercial-grade ("green") aerators - you just end up keeping the faucet on for longer; indeed, only recently has MOEN 'presumed' to put "green" aerators on all their retail faucets...if you rent as I do, you don't pay your own water bill... .' ); also, just like toilets that flush with 'less water', everyone just flushes twice - otherwise, you always end up with 'skid marks'...

Perfect fit

I was happy to find this male aerator tip for Moen kitchen faucets. My faucet is quite old and the original tip fell off as the plastic mesh broke. I dropped 1 star as the tip I bough is identical with the broken one. So I don't expect a very long life. But as long as this tips can be replaced it is still ok.
