PlasmaGlow H11-LED Igniters Headlight Conversion Kit

Much brighter than the Sylvania SilverStar Ultras that were being replaced, approaching HID brightness. The Sylvanias were only rated for about 150 hours, and one of them burned out in less than a year. I won't live long enough to put the rated 30,000 hours on the PlasmaGlows, so I don't expect to be replacing headlights on my Chevy Traverse ever again. That's a relief, because the replacement procedure is totally insane, involving removal of the whole nose/bumper assembly (which dealers can charge up to $150 per lamp to perform). There's an "unauthorized" access method that pries open the wheel well liner and has to be done largely by feel, but it's much quicker. The Traverse has a twist on cap covering the lamp compartment which cannot remain after installing the PlasmaGlow because of the extra cabling and LED driver box. However, most of the cabling can be tucked into the housing, and there happens to be a slot in the molded headlight assembly that holds the driver box snugly. Not too concerned about cover since the PlasmaGlow is supposed to be fully waterproof.Only one slight complaint is that the lamp does not twist in as tightly as it could, so I had to use a cable tie to keep it from possibly twisting loose. A thicker or stiffer gasket would help.

after the first 3 months I had 1 bulb go bad and here after 15 months a second bulb has gone bad and they are not covered under any warranty after 1 year. they stated that they would last 30,000 hrs. Very disappointed in this product for the price and what you get. If I could give no stars I would. I will stick to buying the HID kits from OPT-7.

These easily installed (great YouTube videos available for demonstration ) lights have improved the brightness of my headlights . This is great as my night vision has deteriorated with age. The LED looks good on my old 4-Runner, to boot!

Luckily they are still working. One of them blinks repeatedly for 15 seconds after being on 5 minutes. The ones that I am using are a replacement from my original order. I submitted a refund request but I was beyond the 30 period. Oh well, working for now but who knows for how much longer.

I ordered this item expecting to get what is pictured. I received cheap bulbs that looked nothing like the real plasmaglow. My order has since been returned.
