Excellent clamp for securing a small parasol to a table/ balcony railing.

Other reviews mention a lack of instructions, and this is the sort of gadget that you either put together straight away and wonder what all the fuss is about, or after 20 minutes of unsuccessful juggling you need a little help:The triangular ends go through the slots from the outside, facing away from each other and then pulled in together to form the ring for the parasol. It is possible to do this by yourself, but another pair of hands to hold everything steady would be a bonus.I have only given the clamp three stars for ease of use as I have a circular table and this is probably intended to be used on straight edges. However, it does hold the parasol steady and was a much cheaper option than the table with the hole through the middle which I should have bought in the first place.

Why did you choose this product over others?:Bought this to get me out of a fix. My wife's chair umbrella plastic fixing bracket had snapped off. As I could not get a replacement bracket, I had to look for an alternate method of fixing the brolly back in position. This bracket worked perfectly and was exactly what I required.Ease of installation:Very easy to fit a child could do it.
