GD GRIP TAPE

I don't normally leave ratings/feedback but based upon reading the others that were left, I'm now compelled. I don't know if these people know how to correctly apply this grip tape but my experience was nothing like there's. Not only it was VERY easy to apply but I've used my handgrip at least 50 times since I applied the tape and it has never come off and still on there tight and firm. I also see a big difference in the feel. I used my handgrip for at least 2 or 3 weeks before putting on the tape and the tape feels so good that I've actually done more reps and I use the handgrip more than I usually do. Great product and I'm thinking of buying the red tape to have two alternating colors to look stylish.

The bare knurled handles of the GD Grip 80 can act like sandpaper on the higher resistance settings. This grip tape eliminates any slipperiness and adds a great deal of comfort. You definitely need this. You could get by with hockey-stick tape, but I won't be nearly as good. There is a cellophane backing on both sides of the tape, so be sure to remove both. Comes with a thin strip of sticky tape to secure the ends. I cut each in half and put it around both the top and bottom. Looks great and feels great!

Let me start by saying that I have owned probably 20+ different grippers in my life. Ranging from relatively cheap, to higher-dollar ones. I had read the reviews for this and decided to give it a shot. I ordered the version with the handle extensions and the additional wraps. I went ahead and added the extensions and wrapped it all the way up...no taking the extensions off now. I was first blown away by the engineering on this. It adjusts well to how large (or small) your hands are, and has enough difficulty settings to be useful for most people for quite a while. If you are a serious power lifter, these might not be what you are looking for long-term, but for the average (or above average) Joe, they should be plenty. They feel great and adjust very quickly and easily. It really is cool just to see how it is built and how quickly you can change the settings. If I have one "gripe", it would simply be that there are not any intervals in-between the difficulty levels. It's like you can go from low to medium to high, but if high is too much, then I guess you are just going to be upping your reps on medium for quite a while. It would be nice to have something in-between each setting that would help you get to the next more difficult setting, but it is what it is. The engineering that makes it so cool, is also what keeps you from being able to do the in-between settings. Oh well, it is a small gripe; it's just something to consider if you are purchasing this product. All I can say, is that this is genuinely one of the coolest grippers that I've ever seen. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone that is in the market for one. Seriously, you will be impressed!

The grip tape itself is good, and is much better on your hands than the aluminum handle. The instructions are only in Korean. Only issue is the tape they give you to secure the end is useless. Have some electrical tape ready.

I like the smooth handles, I prefer slight slip as I squeeze it, which keeps my hands from being damaged. This a heavy duty device! There are 6 intensity settings - I am no weakling, but the second setting above "easiest" gives me a good workout

Great grip tape but adhesive on tape to secure end sucks, I mean is horrible, so just be prepared to buy and use suitable tape. You would just expect for them to spend the extra $.02 for better adhesive. 3 stars would have been 5 but the tape coming off even without use is ridiculous.

Barely sticky adhesive. So *not* sticky that it comes with stickers to reinforce the end of the grip tape.. Use some electrical tape. Works better and cheaper.

I first double wrapped with LYFT-RX Hook Grip Tape and then put this over it. I think this is the perfect combo since the grip tape is comfortable but sticky. This tape has a nice grip but doesn't leave your fingers sticky afterwards. Only the ends of this have adhesive so the hook grip tape kind of helps hold everything in place. Make sure to remove the plastic film from both sides before you start wrapping.

Great grippers, but my baby soft hands definitely need the grip tape. Should come with the grippers instead of as an add-on, but otherwise a very high quality product.

The tape is good quality and definitely helps to avoid getting your hands destroyed by the metal handles. The lack of adhesive allows for multiple readjustments without making a mess. Just be aware that the length is only enough to cover the regular handles - if you use the extensions, those will be left uncovered.
