Royal & LangnickelZen Series 83 Watercolour Brush (Dagger 1/2")

I own 2 Zen watercolor brushes, the angle flat and the round 14 and I have i say that I like them as much as my expensive squirrel and sable hair brushes.They are really soft and silky smooth on paper. The round 14 is quite floppy like real squirrel but also springs back to a point. It doesn't seem to hold as much water and paint as natural hair but that suits me just fine.I rate only 4 stars because the 14 round has some side hairs bent from the plastic protector and a few scratches on the handle but it's not a big deal for the price I paid.

Prompt delivery. Useful tool for scratching out in a painting.

Too soft for me, wanted it to blend but it holds too much paint and smudges
