It is an excellent buy compared to the hardware store. It is very sturdy but light to carry. You can sit or kneel comfortably. The side rails help me get up from kneeling. It really helps me garden in my old age. It folds up for easy winter storage. I appreciate the bag at the side to store my tools.

I wanted something that would cushion my knees when working in the garden, and also provide some assistance in getting back up off the ground. This kneeler is just what I was looking for. The cushion isn't quite as soft as foam pads that I had been using, but is more than adequate. I've been using it a few weeks now, it's probably good that the cushion is a little sturdier, as I don't see any indentations from my knees. I didn't think that I would flip it over and use it as a stool, but that has already come in handy several times. I don't use the pouch - I like that it's not attached, so I just don't bother slipping it onto the kneeler. The sides are very easy to fold and unfold, which is important. I was given another manufacturer's kneeler as a gift, and it had a flat metal plate that you had to squeeze against the springs, and that would sometimes "catch", making it hard to fold. I returned that kneeler and got this one, and the folding mechanism is much better. It has a smaller rounded rod that you squeeze against the springs, and that's much easier on the hands and works smoothly. It folds into a compact size for storage, and is easy to carry. Most of the time I use it on grass, but sometimes I use it on a stone path, and the paint has started to come off where it contacts the stone. But that's a minor point. I would definitely purchase this again.

This garden kneeler is fantastic! I always need a little extra boost getting up from kneeling on the ground. It’s sturdy and helps get up with ease. My knees never get dirty or hurt from rough ground. I have an RV and have to kneel down a lot as work around it. I also appreciate that it serves as a chair too. And it folds up. One suggested improvement: put rubber feet on it. I’ve already scratched up the metal from using it on gravel a lot. Ok, two suggested improvements: it’s a little hard to pull up the two pins to get it fold up.

Original review: Overall I am happy with this item - it met (but did not exceed) my expectations. Gardening has been something I really struggle with since developing back problems and this item will greatly enhance my ability to get back to a passion of mine, so in that regard I do recommend the product. I didn't find the plastic leg protector things to be particularly useful. In order for them to work they need to be the point of contact with the floor/ground and that creates some wobble. There is also some concerning wiggle/noise when making any sort of lateral/side-to-side movements while seated on the stool. The stool is rated for 330 pounds and from a pure weight capacity standpoint the stool is very sturdy. I do not have any concerns about it's ability to support my 300-pound frame when sitting still, but the wiggle makes me suspect that if I were to make a sudden lateral shift with the stool supporting all of my weight or perhaps if I were to sit down while coming in hard at a sharp angle that something would bend or break. Update: After perhaps one hour of use (sitting on it and bending down to pull weeds, VERY light use) one of the legs is indeed now bent inward (picture attached) making what was already a wobbly stool now unusable. I am going to contact the manufacturer and will update the review if/when I hear back. Update Part 2: I contacted them explaining the problem and asking if there was any sort of warranty, even offering to pay for a repair myselfz The seller immediately sent a replacement at no charge. The replacement does not have the initial wiggle that my original stool came with so I suspect the original had a minor bend in it from the beginning. I'm bumping my rating to 4 stars because while not amazing, I do like the product, and customer service couldn't have been better.

This met all of my expectations. I was concerned because it cost less than name brand alternatives but it has held up well and seems to be well made. It came completely assembled and ready to use. I've used it about 30 hours so far and see no issues. I've only used it as a kneeler so can only speak to that. The foam padding initially felt harder than the foam pads that are $5 each but after a couple of hours I realized it felt very soft and comfortable. The only drawback I'd caution is it may be a little narrow for some people and I don't know how that compares to other brands. I'd definitely buy it again if needed.

25 years ago I bought one like this ,it was so helpful for me to garden., after 25 years the foam kneeler/seat deteriorated. The framed is still intact and still strong, so I bought another one and it will probably outlast me. I’m 83 and it is a essential piece for my weeding and planting.

I bought this bench to use outdoors, but have also used it inside. It is great to use as a bench or flipped over to kneel on. The cushioning is nice on the knees. It is sturdy and well made. I like that the side pockets are removable. The pockets are well made. It was a good purchase for me.

Great product. No assembly necessary. Seems sturdy. Only time will tell. Easy use: fold & store OR unfold & use as a bench or to kneel on. Helps you stand up as you can lean on handles. Nice pockets to hold your gardening tools while using it.

Initially i thought i was too young to buy something like this, but with a busted knee, i'm so glad i did! I've had this bench-thingy for almost a year now and i love it! It's obviously very useful in the garden because it's soft but firm, and strong but lightweight. It's a good height for me to sit on (5'2"), and the sides help me get up when i've been kneeling on it. During the winter it lived inside and i used it during painting, while cleaning, etc. It's a great :)

Very handy for the garden, especially if you can't kneel for long. It has handy pouches on the side. Comfortable to use.
