I have recently been in the market for some new bakeware and came upon this glass beauty. I love the dish so much. You can cook so much in it. I do a lot of casseroles and this is perfect for a casserole or side dish. Love the unique shape and top on it. Great for oven cooking and dishwasher friendly. Also makes for a great housewarming or Christmas gift!

This is a Libbey 3 Quart Covered Casserole Dish, NOT a 2 Quart Covered Casserole Dish. I wanted a 3 Quart Covered Casserole Dish, because I already had a 1 1/2 Quart Covered Casserole Dish, and a 2 Quart Uncovered Casserole Dish, which needed to be covered most times, before placing in my microwave or convection toaster oven.I wanted a 3 Quart Covered Casserole Dish to have a little extra room, and to not have to cover it with something other than its lid. It goes from microwave, toaster oven, or oven right to table, or refrigerator, if there are leftovers.I love this oval shape, it's very easy to clean too. It is a little heavy, which is to be expected.I am happy with this Libbey 3 Quart Covered Casserole Dish. It's just what I wanted. A 3 Quart Covered Casserole Dish that looks nice and is useful, and easy to clean.

Best thing is this dish comes with a glass lid. So many glass casseroles come with plastic lids which either pop off or melt in the microwave & must be hand washed. This dish is great for my casseroles & vegetables.

This lidded casserole is must-have for all kitchens! Both dish and lid are usable for casseroles and anything you can create. Stores beautifully in fridge and cabinet. Versatile, easy to clean & definitely gift able. I love glass for pretty presentation! Grab this beauty; you won't be disappointed!

I use it almost every night. it's great to quick cook veggies (asparagus, summer squash, zucchini, broc, cauli etc) in 5 minutes or less in the microwave. Cut up potatoes with peppers/onions/seasoning in 20 min. In the oven I use it for everything from manicotti, ravioli in sauce to bread puddings. I love that it has the cover - and yay handle to get hold off and transport safely. Saves doing dishes too, if there are left overs I can let it cool and put it right in the fridge! Then just heat it up and serve again! This was a gift to my daughter, I've been using my own for over 50 years. Have never seen one explode like these new ones on the market, reviews scared me away from those. Best to stay with tried and true.
