At this price point you can't expect a serious training / game ball, and as long as you purchase with this in mind you will not be disappointed. As a ball to have a kick around with your mates, or to have around the house this is perfect.- Grip is good and sticks firmly into the hand, however with serious use in a training environment it does seem to degrade quite quickly.- Holds its level of inflation despite taking some punishment in terms of kicking etc- Comes off the boot well (despite being a little rounder than a typical match ball)- A little heavier than some competitors in this price rangeAll in all, a great option as a non-serious training / casual ball. I've got some of the 'pro' balls from the Simon Shaw range (Ultra Flight & Ultra Grip) and if you're looking for a serious training / match ball then these are the ones you should go for

Great quality ball, looks good and feels good. Unfortunately it doesn't do what we expected. Saying that, the reason for this is that me and my wife are both over 50, have never played rugby and dont know the rules. Fortunately we have had loads of fun already, even though being pretty useless at rugby but I can assure you, the ball isnt the problem, its us. Great service from Jaques of London.

I struggled finding the small hole to inflate the inner bladder. Once found it was easy and the ball is great. Now inflated I fail to find the small hole, so some markings for the hole would be an improvement.

This is the fourth Simon Shaw ball I have bought and the quality is just as great as the other ones. The grip on the ball is excellent which results in accurate passes and great handling. Even when the ball has been used quite a few times the grip is still good. My kids use the balls for training and love the colours. Overall a great ball to train with and for playing competitive games with. 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I bought this for my son as he's into rugby , the ball is hard wearing , the grip of it is brilliant subtle raised bumps that give you a brilliant grip , we love this rugby ball , it was very easy to inflate and it has stayed inflated after a few uses it hasn't deflated at all 5* quality !

This ball greatly exceeded my expectations - Great quality and a fabulous price... my two teenage boys have loved it

Not sure how durable the ball will be as it has only been used once but seems like good quality.
