Very good product.
This sharpening system is more than decent. After some pretty heavy field wear on my Seal Pup, I took these stones to it. After going down the line, excluding the most course stone, it's almost as sharp as it was out of the box (which was RAZOR sharp). If I had a strop I could shave with it. Now keep in mind, these are pretty small stones which may discourage you but be fooled. Unless you're putting an edge on an axe of machete this set is fantastic.I typically carry a small, medium, ceramic rod in the field to keep an edge while camping, hiking, zombie hunting, whatever. It fits right in the sheath pouch on the Seal Pup and it doesn't add any noticeable weight. But this set is small enough to toss in your pack, big-out bag or pocket and not even notice it's there. And again, you really only need the three finer grits, they'll Danny sure do the job. Unless you want to outright change the grind/bevel on you blade or sharpening a butter knife, than yeah, go ahead and grab the dark gray one.

Great stones!
Love this product! Use them all the time when sharpening my knives. I love the whole KME sharpening system! Definitely recommend this product.

Great stones for a great machine
Great items, if you want to make things sharp these are the ticket! They make easy work out of sharpening knives.

Avoid the stones
I like this sharpening system but the quality of these stones is very low. Almost everyone has rough areas and high and low spots. I emailed KME asking for ways to flatten them but they ignored my question. I would avoid these at all costs.

3 of 4 stones don't fit onto the KME sharpener
The stones as far as sharpening work ok for most steels (440C and 9CR18MOV), but was slow going on S35VN and D2. Tried S90V and after a few strokes I realized it was going to need the diamond stones. So the stones work. My major gripe and why I'm giving it 1 star is that 3 of the 4 stones were too short to fit into the KME. This is a KME product and they're selling it with their name on the packaging, and they don't fit. The stones are too short so they can't be secured properly and just fall out during use. Also they shouldn't list this is as a set of 4 Arkansas stones when only one of them is an actual Arkansas stone.
