I purchased this case after purchasing a different watch case that included a glass protection screen that broke twice in one week with normal wear (the second time the glass protection screen broke, the "case" part fell off the watch, so I was not able to return it to the store where I bought it). I needed something that would provide reliable protection for my Apple Watch and I knew from my experience with the other case that a raised casing would help protect the screen, and this case had a raised edge. I was a little ambivalent to buy this case since it does not include a screen protector, but I'm very glad I did. I actually got my watch stuck in my car door as I closed it the first day I had the watch in this case, and it bent one of the pins that connects a band to the case. I contacted Catalyst customer service for a replacement pin, and after having me complete an online form, they sent me a BRAND NEW case, no questions asked. This has been the perfect watch case for me and I've had no other problems with it at all (besides when I clumsily got my wrist caught in my car door!). I was able to purchase a flimsy protective case that attached to the watch screen and it does not impede this case in any way, so my watch is now perfectly protected. I would strongly recommend this case to anyone. It is a large (though I have a big wrist), yet light and durable. The only downside to this case is the button that covers the digital crown (home button on side) is made out of some sort of plastic, so you are unable to take an EKG while the case is on, although access to the electric heart sensor and the optical heart sensor are not at all impeded so it can continue to monitor your heart rate. I would strongly recommend this product!

Likes: Watch case is great specially in my field of expertise! As a plumber, i needed a protection from dust and water and minor bumps. This case definitely does the job and is the best in the market as far as 360 protection.Dislike: I marked 3 stars on durability because somehow some way, they crack by the screw area!The bands kinda sucks but replaced them with a barton elite silicon band.Costumer service is great! I told them the case had a crack and they sent me replacement!

I had one of these for 3 years and it held up awesome for my iWatch series 6. Although it eventually broke, i still purchased a new one to replace the old one. It wasn’t quite right and I returned it, I still give 5 stars as I am a contractor and this case saved my previous watch for years. Truly waterproof and everything else is true about it. BUT, they don’t have a screen protector or a variety of styles or colors. Those are my only complaint. Definitely worth the money if you need try waterproof to protect from paint, water, joint compound and other job site liquids.

This watchband essentially reduces your Applewatch from a series 4 to a series 3. The band takes away the watches ability to take an EKG, reduces the slick movement of the crown to a hard to turn wheel and makes the side button very hard to use. The build of the Catalyst Watchband is of a very cheap plastic that surrounds an even cheaper rubber insert. The bad is very thick and doesn’t really fit the build of the face. Catalysts whole marketing campaign surrounds the fact that it makes your Apple Watch “waterproof”. The Apple Watch already has that capability. As far as this band protecting my watch form hits and scrapes, I can purchase a similar band for much less that will do just that and I will. In closing, this product is way overpriced and cheap.****Update**** After one week of wear, the housing holding the watch in has broken. The screw was barely tightened, yet the cheap plastic could not take the pressure.

I work as an archeologist and even while water screening the watch still doesn’t get wet. The case is easy to put on, amazing quality, it looks and feels a bit bulky but I don’t mind as long as it protects the watch which it does. I would recommend however getting a screen protector for it since it doesn’t not have anything covering the screen which I prefer.

The good parts of this case are the overall water-resistance and comfort. The case does add some level of security while working in the shop and in the garage that my watch is protected. This case doesn't add a lot of bulk and the band is very very comfortable. Speakers, microphones, and haptic responses all worked as they normally would without the case. However, I do have two major complaints about this case, one is a design flaw and another is a catastrophic failure. The scroll wheel on the case is not nearly as responsive as the naked scroll wheel and overall was just poorly designed. (If you put your watch into the swim mode, good luck being able to spin the wheel enough to get it to unlock after). The second is that after less than a month of wearing this case on a semi-regular basis, the lower portion of the case has become chipped and is starting to crack completely through from the edge to the center. This has compromised the waterproof integrity of the case and ultimately made it unusable.If you're just looking for a bombproof case from your Apple Watch, this is a reasonable choice. But if you use the scroll wheel at all, prepare for frustration. Also, prepare for it to break without warning.

Band is rugged and comfortable. However, data for Move, exercise minutes, and flights climbed increased ~50% when wearing this band. When I substantially loosen the band, the numbers seem to be closer to what is "typical", but still high, and the band is too loose to comfortably wear. Software is up to date, so the only variable seems to be the band. A bummer because this would be a great band if it accurately tracked those parameters.
