Love, love, LOVE this stuff! I was having trouble with eczema on my face due to high histamine levels. The doctor suggested that I gently wash my face with water and then apply an ointment to moisturize, and protect the skin.Since I had another brand already in the house, I used it. Even though this other brand—that starts with the letter ”A”—has a great reputation, using their ointment felt like I was plastering on straight petroleum jelly. And, in spite of it being advertised as hypoallergenic, it itched slightly and was generally uncomfortable. Since I am already using (and loving) the VANICREAM lotions, I decided to give their VANIPLY ointment a try even though it was a few dollars more. And, am I glad I did! It is light enough to go on my dry skin like any other moisturizer. My red, rough eczema patches have disappeared. My face looks better than it has in months! While a low-histamine, healthy diet help heal the inside of my body, this ointment helped heal the outside.

This is the most perfect lip ointment I have ever used! Lips feel extremely soft, supple and nourished for a long time!I was using CeraVe Healing Ointment on my lips before (which is great), but I find it doesn’t last as long on the lips, so I use it for face and body only.I do not taste the Vaniply Ointment on my lips (I don’t lick it of course, but it accidentally slips into your mouth when you eat, drink, talk, etc), and Vaniply lasts longer on the lips, keeping them softer longer. Also Vaniply Ointment says clearly on the label that it can be used on the lips.In the past, I've used different oils, cocoa butter, beeswax, beef tallow, chapsticks and other lip balms, and Vaniply Ointment is by far the best for my lips.I’m very happy I gave Vaniply Ointment a try. I’ve filled a few empty chapstick containers with it and I have it everywhere I am. I even printed out cute labels and taped on the containers to know what product is in there.

I have very dry, sensitive and reactive skin and when I get any irritation or wounds applying Vaseline, Lanolin, Neosporin, Cerave Healing Ointment (and anything that contains petroleum) just doesn't work for me. They will soothe at initial contact, but instead of healing the skin, itchy bumps will eventually form.Thank goodness for Vaniply, because it looks and feels like petroleum but is made with different ingredients and I get no negative reaction whatsoever. My infected finger and allergy rashes have been moisturizing and healing well with Vaniply within a couple of days. Before this, I was applying Neosporin and Vaseline for WEEKS with no signs of improvement.Really recommended for super sensitive skin folks!

This is the absolute best hydrating product. My entire family uses it all winter long on hands, cuticles, lips, heels. Our daughter had severe skin issues, sending us to multiple dermatologists. We finally found an old school dermatology professor who recommended vaniply products for her. We use them all. This is an ointment, not a cream. It’s penetrates deep (not like petroleum jelly that stays on the surface). For dry hands, reccomend applying to tops is hands avoiding palms and finger tips so it doesn’t feel greasy. Best application at night to really absorb. Relieves chapped lips immediately. Well worth the money.

If you have open wounds, you must consider this ointment. It was recommended by my dermatologist. It heals open acne, sores from burns, cuts and the like. It is not petroleum based and has increased healing for me by 2 and 3 times the normal rate. Excellent product that I can't seem to find in stores.

I love this stuff. I had very bad eczema, exacerbated by how dry my skin has become with the colder weather. I used this morning and night since it arrived and noticed immediate results. I also use Aveeno Eczema, which is not that much different but I think this works better and I like that it is very thick to scoop easily, but applies comfortably. This cleared my eczema in about 3-4 days.

This stuff is AWESOME and I highly recommend especially if you have experienced extreme pelvic pain from Vulvar Vestibulitis or other kinds if pelvic problems. It's better than plain Vaseline or coconut oil because it stays put for longer in my opinion but can also wipe off easily if need be. They offer it in smaller to-go sizes so I can carry it with me wherever I go all day. It was recommended to me by my pelvic pain specialist doctor.

My dermatologist gave me samples of this for dry, cracked feet, "Dermatitis." This jar of ointment is an economical way to purchase Vaniply, and using the product is pleasant... rubs in nicely, put soft socks over, and ready to get into the day or slip into sleep at night. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.
