Super durable, very impressed
I'm an EMT and bought this so I don't have to worry as much about going into unknown people's houses. I've carried this every day for about a year and it barely shows any wear. Still works perfectly and is very accurate. Battery life is great. I leave it on almost 24/7 and it's still on the original battery. Vibrate and max functions are very useful. It responds very quickly to CO and always alarms within just a few seconds. I'm very impressed with the durability and build quality. 10/10

HVAC tech life saver. Great investment 10 fold.
In California Central heating is often in attic or under homes. Sometimes not easy to get out fast. Twice I found exhaust leaking without my knowledge but this detector did (IN REAL TIME!). This also helped me show my customers they have traces of Carbon monoxide even at low levels (1PPM) and watch it grow. If you work around combustion this is a must have or go old school and carry a Canary with you like they do in mining.

Sensorcon...Worth it.
I have a household Smoke Alarm/CO detector, but found these things alarm at 70 ppm. Not good enough. Constant exposure to levels below that can cause health problems. A defective stove burner and clogged vent was pushing my old Kidde digital into the range of 35 ppm. However Kidde models show peak readings 10-30 only if you are in the habit of pushing the peak button and continuous readout above 30.I wanted something better and Sensorcon was recommended by someone else who was suffering the effects of low level CO. This device continuously down to 0. Acceptable levels are 0 to 5 ppm and great for pinpointing problems. Rugged and waterproof a plus.Compact, rugged, and accurate. Pricey? What's the health of you and your loved ones worth?

Not suitable for travelling!
The device is feels sturdy and is easy to use. However, it is 100% not suitable for travelling. I bought the device so that I can check CO levels in hotel rooms I'm staying in during my frequent travels abroad for work. However, literally every time I fly with the device, it displays wildly high and inaccurate reading for hours, sometimes days, before it settles back down to normal. I spoke with a representative from the manufacturer and they confirmed this is not a defect with my individual device but rather a known issue with the product.

Good stuff
It works as advertised. I used it to ensure the heat exchange on my stove was intact. After checking that it went to our rural fire district for a permanent home.really appreciate all the information offered on the product manufacture's website.

Nice device. Well made
Nice device. Well made, you can tell it's not a piece of junk when you pick it up. I use it for checking CO levels while operating some of my older vehicles, and also for checking the CO levels in the garage. It's kinda big to carry as a key chain, but fits inside a cup holder easily. Even though we have a CO detector upstairs, my wife likes that she can walk around the basement and check for CO levels in the winter when the gas furnace and gas water heater is running a lot.

Real time CO detector much more accurate than cumulative consumer detector
A consumer type wall mounted cumulative CO detector only tests for CO exposure over time. However small children and the elderly may be more sensitive. This unit is real time and can detect CO leaks the standard wall mount units cannot.I'd rather know if a gas appliance, water heater or furnace is leaking CO before I've been exposed for hours to a CO leak. Fire box cracks may only show up once the fire box is fully heated up and the crack expands. Who wants to breath CO after hours of a cracked fire box leaking? Gravity flu pipes have to fully warm up before they fully draft, typically about 10 minutes. Best to check them then for back drafting, such as a bird nest at the top of the flu pipe. This unit will remove any doubts about CO leakage without waiting for 8 to 10 yours or a week. A quick check of CO detector web sites will explain why.One thing to keep in mind, however. The unit expires in about two years and has to have it's sensor replaced. It may be less expensive to buy a new one than to send your in to the factory for repair.

So far so good!
I like the quality of this product. As a home inspector I've only used it 3 times so far. At a home inspection, the lawn was being done at the home, when I went outside to get something I could smell the gardeners equipment. I looked at the CO2 detector and the value was high. I feel it is accurate.
