Awesome value for the money
All I can say is WOW! Awesome value for the money. We found this kit in a retail store for $120 but Amazon's price was nearly half! I bought this for my 9 year old son who is addicted to Legos and the Titanic. The set has over 1800 pieces and comes with detailed instructions that are easy to follow. Extra pieces were included - a good thing since they are very tiny and easy to lose. Because the blocks are much smaller than Legos, your child needs good fine motor control skills. My son has Asberger's and this was a great way to work on those skills! He built it a couple hours at a time over the course of a few days and it has given him a lot of pleasure and self satisfaction. He is so proud of the fact that he built 1800+ pieces all by himself! The Nanoblocks do not lock together as firmly as Legos - thus, playing with your final creation can be challenging; it breaks apart easily. We have put our model Titanic on a bookshelf and plan to superglue it as my son loves to move it around and show it off to everyone. There will be many more Nanoblock sets in our future!

Great kit. Plenty of extra blocks in case you drop a few of the little pieces. Completed model looks beautiful. Some reviews said the smoke funnels kept falling. I think those people made a mistake in assembly. Mine are as tight as can be and do not fall or tip over. Nanoblock instructions can be difficult as compared to Lego's, but once you get used to them, they are fine. I do recommend using a magnifying glass when looking at the direction pictures to make sure you are using the correct pieces. It is easy to use the wrong sizes. These kits are definitely not for people with "fat fingers/hands" since the blocks are tiny compared to legos

Loved building this
We bought this for our 9 yr old son and the small blocks and a somewhat complicated design made it hard for him to do on his own. He still enjoyed it, especially once it was built. There are some design issues with the placement of the blocks that make parts of the boat a little untable. Lego always has you interlock the bricks while this company's design often has you stack them which creates weaknesses. The result was when building the next layer, sometimes the layer below collapsed. We also had one of the smokestacks break when we were nearly done (because they are inserted into a part of the ship that is hallow. Thankfully the bottom base snaps off and we were able to repair from the bottom. Just have to be careful but otherwise a really cool model and was well worth building.

It’s an amazing set. The pieces were perfect and ample of extras too for accidents. Took good 10 hours to finish but was well worth it. Love the attention to details. Just wish the pillars were not on a loose piece as they would fall while assembling around it. But v did our own fix to that. Overall very pleased.

Impressive set
My 11yo assembled this in 2 days. Buy the nanoblock tweezers (I ordered direct from Japan and they arrived before the start of the arrival window I was given ++!), they are invaluable since removing mis-placed pieces is near impossible without them in many cases. You do have to be vigilant about making sure pieces are firmly in place vertically, or it will bite you later in the build. Finished model is great and is our current coffee table decor!

Pieces are tiny, patience is required
Gave as Christmas present to my 9 year old Grandson. He has done many kits, this took him several sessions to complete. Did almost entirely by himself. The smoke stacks don't want to stay in their correct position, otherwise, all went well.Only missed one piece, and we substituted. (1800 pieces)

Absolutely hated this! Will never buy nano blocks again!
I was so looking forward to putting this together. We have often seen these nano block sets at stores, and I always say "aw...look how cute and tiny the pieces are! like mini legos!", and have wanted to try one for many years. I assumed (wrongly) that they would be like Lego blocks to assemble, since they look like tiny, scaled down versions of the name brand block. They are not. They are unbelievably tiny (think placing pieces with tweezers), and VERY fiddly!! The slightest bump or wrong move as you are placing them, and they skite across the table, bouncing to the floor, and disappearing under furniture! They are nearly impossible to find, and the clear ones make you want to pull your hair out. Also unexpected were the instructions. We are used to Legos, with excellent, illustrated instruction, with step by step moves. These do not do that. They show each layer on the next one, with each building on the last, which means you have to count like a cross stitch pattern to be sure you are on the right row and stud number. This was horrible with the clear pieces that made the igloo!! Then was the nightmare of the pieces that would fall through to the under layer, unable to be retrieved without turning the whole thing upside down and gently shaking to get them to come out...the entire thing was so dainty and delicate that when this became necessary, the base of blue for the water would come apart and the clear ones would fall off...all in all, this was NOT a fun kit, but actually became a laborious chore to complete. I will never purchase this brand or size of block again...Lego is far better made and a LOT more fun to assemble!!
