OK code; had a biter aftertaste that was meh
We have been buying different dark roasted coffees to see what we like and so far Costco beats all the fancy expensive ones we have tried here. This one was OK, but for the price we expected more. Had a bitter aftertaste that we did not enjoy. One of us uses a lot of cream and he commented on that taste even with the creme so...maybe we got one that was not roasted properly or. it is just a bitter coffee? We tried several pots before mixing it with a cheaper one that needed more dark roast so we didn't waste the beans:(

UPDATE. Company sent me a replacement, it tasted as good as my previous purchases, so I am changing the rating to 5 stars.Bought it for the 3rd time. The first two were 5 stars. But this time, the beans are over-roasted to the point they are unusable. Probably will never buy dark roast from this company again.

My wife loves black coffee and her bday being a few days away. Also being stationed across the country there was no room for error. I looked at hella places and found not a lot of true Indonesian coffee. Since I couldn’t get it internationally shipped to here. I looked else where and this is what I found! This looked a lot more promising then the others i looked at and it paid off! Her and her dad are from Jakarta smelled it and said “yeah that’s the good stuff.” If they gave approval it has to be good. If there is one thing my wife loves to talk about and hates to complain about is coffee. Hope this helps! Wish they had one from Venezuela!

much too bitter
I don't like this, I found it very bitter tasting and gave me heartburn every time I drank it, I am very disappointed in this coffee and won't be buying it again. It is not smooth at all and has a bit of a strange flavor to it, I can't describe the flavor but it isn't pleasant
