AlpacaJack Mens Diabetic Alpaca Socks are the warmest and most luxurious diabetic/therapeutic socks available.Warmest Diabetic SocksOur diabetic alpaca socks are thick and heavy-duty. Alpaca fiber is three times warmer than wool.Improve CirculationThis premium diabetic sock is a loose-top sock, so it is less restrictive on the foot or on the leg. This is essential for people with circulation problems.Moisture WickingAlpaca fiber is naturally moisture wicking, transporting moisture away from its source (foot or leg) to the outside of the sock, where it is able to evaporate. This helps to keep the foot dry and reduce the growth of bacteria and fungus, which leads to less foot odor and overall better comfort, even in cold and damp conditions.HypoallergenicAlpaca fiber, unlike wool, does not contain lanolin. Our socks will not cause the foot to itch or a person to have an allergic reaction from lanolin.Eco FriendlyAlpacas are a renewable resource and are gently, hardy animals. An Alpaca is typically sheared once per year, after which the Alpaca grows another luxurious coat. One shearing can ultimately produce many warm, soft socks. No animals are killed or hurt in the process of collecting alpaca fiber.Made in USAOur diabetic alpaca socks are proudly made in the United States of America. Easy CareMachine wash cold and lay flat to dry.55% Alpaca, 35% acrylic, 10% Nylon

and easy to get off and on
I tried these socks because I'm diabetic. The wool blend socks I've been wearing are tight, hard to get on and off, and leave a mark on my legs. I've worn the AlpacaJack socks four times & washed them four times. I even wore them multiple days without washing, to test their durability. The socks are very soft, and easy to get off and on. They were not as tight as the socks I wear now. I saw no change in the socks after four washings.I plan to buy these socks again. Unfortunately, because of the price, I will be more prudent with how many I'll buy.AlpacaJack Mens Diabetic Outdoor Alpaca Sock

and they were perfect; he loved the fit
I ordered these several weeks ago, and they were perfect; he loved the fit, and they were thick and plush. So we ordered five more pairs, straight off the "re-order the same item" link. They are NOT the same item": These are much smaller and several inches shorter; they don't reach the knee. They are also thinner, without the thick plush padding, especially in the toe. The first order was exceptional; these are, by comparison, frankly terrible.

Husband's feet were swollen and the "foot part" wasn't long enough to go over his heels. Lovely and soft though. I gave them to my father.

Great comfort but, too expensive.
These socks are 55% alpaca wool. The washing instructions say cold wash drip dry. I have hand washed these in cold and dried them on a towel bar. The socks are very comfortable and warm. The price of one pair is over $20, too expensive for a second pair. Positives: very comfortable they fit just right on me. The negatives price and hand wash.

Soft,comfy durable socks.
This is my boyfriend's preferred socks. He has tried many types of diabetic socks and these win hands down! I had to by two more pairs for him. The pair from last Christmas has held up to weekly washings - have been impressed! Now he can wear his favorite type of socks at least 3 times a week to work. Well worth the price!

Width runs very small, length ok.
Gee, this is a first that a pair of gloves that I order as per the sizing chart do not fit. I measured carefully and was very surprised to find that the gloves were too tight across the width of my hand (around my knuckles). The length of the glove and fingers were fine, however.

Otherwise a great sock. Just don't buy them if you can't ...
I suffer from neuropathy and was looking for a non-elastic, non-compressing sock. These were advertised as non-elastic, but they aren't. They definitely put the squeeze on. Otherwise a great sock. Just don't buy them if you can't tolerate compression around your lower legs and feet.
