Looked at so many options and read many reviews. Got this one, and absolutely pleased. I think one of the reviews mentioned you should use the old clamps… this was not the case for me. Everything fit perfectly. I’m no mechanic, but this was super easy to install. Saved a bunch on parts and labor, took a short road trip after installing and wow did the car drive better - as expected. Definitely recommend this part and seller.

Part was good but I ordered wrong part

My 2012 Nissan Murano was running fine but had a hesitation or "dead spot" in the accelerator when starting from a stop position and only in first gear. After it would shift into second gear, no issues. when I pulled the air intake boot off to clean the Throttle body I found the rubber air intake boot/hose had dry rotted and had a large tear/hole in it. Ordered this replacement part, found it to be very good quality and it fit perfectly. It took me 15 minutes in install and 100% fixed the problem.

Air intake ducts are prone to wear and failure. This one fits and seems just as robust as the original part.Fix that "permanent" P0101 code permanently: if the duct is split anywhere, it's going to set an engine light and cost you in mpg.

This only took about 5 minutes to install. Took care of acceleration hesitation, especially from stops and going up hills. Vehicle would run fine after it was going, was having intermittent acceleration problems from starts. My vehicle did not throw a code. I thought it was the accelerator pedal position sensor, but it was actually this air intake boot. I did try cleaning the MAF sensor first, then realized that the boot was actually torn between the baffle ridges. Saved a large bill and trip to the dealership.
