great micro system
when it comes to small/micro hifi system there aren't that many choices. I did my research and Onkyo was one of the best in my price range. Sure there are better system but they are in the upwards of $500.00.the overall look is nice. black piano finish is great, goes with virtually everything. very simplistic and easy to use. remote has all the functions that are available from the system. sound is pretty good for such a small unit. cd, fm radio, usb and Bluetooth all work flawlessly so far. Happy with the seller as well. item was shipped several hrs from the time I ordered it. arrived well packed no damage and on time. would recommend this system as well as the seller

Compact and stylish
Nice bookshelf stereo for our living room, easy to use and decent sound but is not something that will knock the pictures off a wall. It is what i expected after looking at all the different models and reviews.

Great Sound and Looks, Love the USB Input
Great sound, great functionality, great remote, great looks, great size, and does not require a phone or tablet to use.As an audiophile for many years, with many thousands of dollars spent on expensive stereo equipment (e.g., separate preamp and amplifier), I was very impressed with this compact system. The sound is good, especially after turning off the "bass boost" function and adding the included rubber pads to the speaker bottoms (2 pads in the front, 1 pad in the rear).I love that this unit does not need a phone or tablet to use, and can accept a tiny USB stick in the front (the SanDisk Cruzer works perfectly, and is almost invisible it's so small) while holding a massive amount of music -- literally thousands of hours of music. The unit has numerous input options: the USB stick mentioned, Bluetooth via phone or tablet, standard audio CD, MP3 files on CD, and AM/FM radio.Sadly, these days almost everything requires a phone or tablet to use, which drives me bonkers. I don't want to use a phone to work basic household items, and also don't want to give children a phone or tablet to work basic household items. Also, bluetooth streaming reduces sound quality. So the USB input is exactly what i was looking for, and it shows the song title when playing on the LED screen. The system looks very sharp in white, with all the needed buttons in a single neat row on top of the 'amplifier' portion, which are intuitive to use, so the remote isn't even needed. But the remote (also white) is full featured and also easy to use.

Nice mini system with excellent sound !
The Onkyo CS-265 mini Hi-fi CD Bluetooth Stereo System: If you are in need for a smaller, good quality, great sounding stereo unit, then this is a good choice! It's small and compact in size, looks good, seems to be made very good, and sounds great! The Bluetooth works great. The radio works great and picks up stations really well. The USB port works great. The CD player works great! And these days it's becoming harder and harder to find a mini system that actually sounds good and has all these features. Plus the CD player so far has been working really good , unlike most of the other cheaper CD systems out there now days that seem to be so cheaply made and always end up breaking quickly or just don't work! Just cause everything is going to mp3 files and stuff doesn't mean that they should stop making CD players that work. Some people as is me, still buy and collect the actual CD albums. Plus this system just sounds so nice and clear. And I have noticed that it is hard to find a halfway good sounding little system any more, especially one that has a CD player! But anyways this mini unit is a great buy. It sounds great for the size and the size of the speakers. Clear mids, Highs, and nice lows. Now don't expect to have hard pounding lows, because there is not a sub with this system. But the bass does sound pretty good. All in all I feel that this mini stereo system is of great quality and sound. Yes it's a little more expensive, but if you want whatever you are listening to to sound good, then it is worth the price. I have owned this unit for probably about 6 months now and so far haven't had any issues with it. And I use this for atleast four hours almost every day. I DO recommend this item. I'm very pleased with this purchase. I will update if I ever have any problems with it in the future.
