nice toy, well made
I have a shepherd mix. He has vice jaws. THis toy definitely is a challenge for him. It has a squeaker on both ends. My dog likes the thin vinyl barbell over this one because it's not as heavy a weight and he likes to soft chew it, but it does wind up with holes in it after about one month. This Nerf toy will last much, much longer than that. IMO the price ought to be no more than $8 but then, EVERYTHING 'pets' seems to be priced 2x or 3x what it ought to be.

Great for tough chewers
We had to return this toy because it was a bit too firm for our pup's mouth.I think this would be an excellent and fun toy for a pooch that likes and needs something firmer to honk down on. The size is great for medium to larger dogs, color is easy to see and won't blend into the floor, and it puts out a loud enough sound that most dogs will want to play and hear it squeak.Sadly, it just wasn't for us.

I'm not a sponsor for Nerf Dog but I should be--I mean look at that money shot of my Mr. Boo Radley looking at his favorite toy! It's gotten to the point that I have to hide this so he will stop playing fetch and take a breath! My two favorite things about this barbell: 1) It's SUPER durable. Trust me peeps--baby boy has shredded his fair share of rubber toys and 2) I don't love touching slobber and this seems to greatly alleviate that problem because you can grab the end that's not in their mouth! Definitely going to buy another one and I'll have to give the other Nerf Dog products a whirl!

Great for tough chewers
My dog loves this toy. She has a narrow mouth so she like the barbell shape. She is a chewer and can't hurt this. Loves to retrieve it and lay with it.

Very popular in dog run
My husky mix absolute loves this toy. It’s very popular with the other dogs in the dog run. It’s quite sturdy but an aggressive chewer can definitely put holes and destroy the toy. I’ve just ordered a second one because it was destroyed

Squeeks on both ends---exciting for our dog.
Had this less than a week but our 27 pound border collie mix is really happy with this, so it is a 5 star item.
