The item and the box came damaged.Definitely not a good buy.

Great at first, it worked for 3 times and then the big ring stopped working. Quiet disappointed and it also smelt of burning while on

I bought two of these, the first lasted for about 6 months light use and then the large hob stopped working, it actually tripped the main fuse in the fusebox for the house.I gave this model a second try thinking it might just be the first one which wasn't made very well .. but, the second one stopped working after only 2 months light use in exactly the same way .. the main hob just stopped working/heating up.I will not be buying this model again and have bought another which is slightly more expensive but better built and designed and far more capable of dealing with light use everyday cooking.I guess the manufacturers got some money out of me, but I would advise anyone looking for a portable electric hob, don't choose this one.

I’ve used this product for around 4 months, but unfortunately one side has completely stopped working. I used it for light cooking, heating up tins mainly and cooking gravy when there wasn’t enough space on my kitchen hob. It worked well - but only for a short time. It was easy to clean the metal area around the burners. But the burners themselves were much more difficult.

The image you see advertised is misleading, you cannot get a frying pan and large pot together on this I have tried. One large pan and small one is what it will take. It is good but not great, the temperature regulator constantly switches on and off and it takes about 5-10 mins for a decent pan to get hot. It will do for what I need it for and it is reasonably well made. I do recommend this item for use on occasions but not constant use.

We bought this to use while our kitchen is being updated. It works fine - the rings are quite close together, so you can't use two big pans at once, but on the whole it does the job well. Temp control is good. The light goes off when required temp is reached. I can see why, but I would prefer it if the light stayed lit while the hob is switched on - the rings don't colour as they get hot, so it is possible to leave it on without realising.

turned up damaged, looked like it had taken some hits in transport. I see other reviews saying the same, but it still worked. If t's all your budget can stretch too, then fine, but if you can afford more it probably won't be money wasted.

This is a disaster! Hob arrived and I opened it and the plug is badly bent so I can’t fit in in a socket and the front of one of the hobs is crushed in so even if I could plug it in - doubt it would work!! I have asked for a return and refund but I have to pay for it to be returned myself! It says I shouldn’t but there is no way to contact the seller to discuss this!! Amazon is great until something goes wrong and then you are left high and dry!
