The container is large and holds a lot of utensils. It has a padded bottom, which we like; no concerns of scratching our counter-tops. My husband and I both cook, so we have a ton of utensils. We decided to order a second one to tackle our overflowing utensil drawer.

not sure what happened, perhaps a worker picked it up before the enamel/paint dried. there is also another smaller black spot. (they don't come off with soap and water.)the steel and enamel are a little thin for the $14.97 + tax I paid for it. there are 100+ tiny bumps where the enamel/paint isn't thick enough to hide the dust that was on the holder before the paint was sprayed on. or the paint bath it was dipped in was exposed to a lot of dust.the steel is more resistant to chipping than ceramic, but more prone to rusting, I suppose.the pad on the bottom is a good design choice.the metal lip isn't perfectly attached such that it is slightly bent and creaks where the circular ring is welded together.the holder has about a 5.1 in inner diameter with a 5.4 in outer diameter lip.satisfied.
