This product should be relabeled as the magic tip! Unfortunately, none of the included tips worked on my laptops. So, confident that the tip replacement program would salvage my purchase, I submitted my tip request to Innergie. Several weeks later, the tips I requested arrived in the mail. Joy of joys, they worked and now I only need to carry one power supply for my two laptops. The tip program is slow but it does come through. And with the proper tip, the cable is indeed magic!

I have bought it mainly for using with my Thinkpad working laptop. The yellow rectangular connector was not very easy to find on the aftermarket until I found innergie actually has one for sale. I used the 65W mini usb-c charger for a long time and I trusted innergie brand. It is pretty well designed with good grips on each connections of the power chain. As a backup I did not use it every day though but I feel it would last.One thing I do miss is the USB port extension part. It is not to be found anywhere. I think it is a very good addition to the whole suite.

I ordered this cable along with the 60w international USB charger as a minimal way to save space when traveling. Unfortunately, none of the included tips fit the laptop I wanted to use it for. I did test it with another laptop that worked with the included tips, and it worked very well with that system. I put in a request for a tip for my laptop, but didn't hear anything back. More than two months later the tip arrived in my mailbox, so it did eventually come through, but too late to be useful.Out of curiosity, I did try the cable with other USB type C PD chargers I have, and none of them worked with this cable, so if you're planning on buying this cable, make sure that you have the compatible Innergie charger. It seems they're correct when they say it won't work with any others. Very disappointing, as the appeal of USB C is being able to use chargers and cables interoperably. There are similar adapters on Amazon which do work with all USB PD chargers such as these https://www.amazon.com/Cablecc-Female-5-52-5mm-Charge-Laptop/dp/B0831G3LX8 which are also more portable, use standard tip adapters, and are only a third the price of this proprietary cable where.

None of the adapters fit my laptop but i did evwntually hwar from the free tip program. make sure you check your spam folder!

The Innergie laptop cable was not compatible with my computer.

The tips supplied were not compatible with my Asus and HP laptop models. After 6 weeks and at least as many attempts to get any kind of response from Innergie, they did eventually ship me the correct tips. Beware this cable+tips only work with Innergie's own power supplies, if you try and use them with standard USB-C adapters they will not deliver the correct voltage.

Bought this to be able to use my Innergie USB C charger with my Lenovo laptop and my wife's HP laptop. Now instead of having 2 separate (and bulky) chargers lying around, we only need one to share. Great concept and execution. It would be better if they included a USB C tip as well so that the same cable could be used for laptops that take USB C power input, but it's already a great product as is.Edit: reduced my rating to 4 stars as this only works with their own Innergie USB C charger (which I have). It would be much more useful if the cable could be used with other USB C chargers.

None of the tips fit any of my devices. And it took a couple weeks to hear back from Innergie after several inquiries -- via both the "Free TIP Program" and "Customer Service" forms on their website. That said, once I got the appropriate tip in the mail a few weeks after purchasing, all is well. I've saved a lot of room in my travel kit!
