TPS009 Throttle Position Sensor OE#F4SZ9B989A,F79Z9B989AA,F8OF9B989AA for Ford,Lincoln,Mazd.,Mercury 1994-2006

The seller was outstanding. This product was completely sealed, brand new and defective. The tensioned potentiometer was forcing tension in the idle position, and made my check engine light come on. It just happens sometimes, I get it. The seller reached out to me to make sure I was pleased with the purchase. I explained that is was defective and that I bought another at a local parts store. I did not ask for a refund. I mainly just wanted him to know, to notify his supplier. The seller gave me a full refund, even though I told him it was only $30, and not his fault when a brand new part is defective. Excellent Seller!!!

Even though my truck is called out specifically in the fitment above, this is the wrong sensor for my truck. Amazon believes this fits my truck as well, but while it will bolt into place, when installed there is zero throttle response. The correct sensor is APS101; PPS1000; T92001 F6TZ9F836AA (search Amazon for this part number).I will be returning this sensor.

Dodge engineering must have competed for MOST complex method for designing this. The installation requires a lot of disassembly just to get to it. Then you have to use a voltmeter to set it up, and finally "calibrate" it. Stupid process when even Fords make it more simple. But the thing works fine, and is cheaper than buying the whole assembly which isn't much easier to install. 5 stars because it isn't their fault Dodge processes stink.

This part is the wrong part for the 1996 ford f250 7.5L gas engine. Amazon list says it does. It is totally the wrong part. Sorry, but I cant say what it even fits. But it does not fit the big block ford with a gas engine. Not even close!

Not working right still having the high idle for20 min. When I start my truck.

Had a transmission issue (delayed up shifts, harsh downshifts). This fixed the issue. Recommended.
