Betts 14-7 Professional Series Live Bait and Shrimp Mono Cast Net, 7-Foot Length, 5/8-Inch Mesh, Sea Green Finish

Net throws great, tangles much less than my 7' Superpro. bought this net because the superpro was tangling way too much and a lot of friends were having trouble because the superpro was too heavy. This net is much lighter and in my opinion sinks as fast as my 7' 1/2" superpro. One complaint is on the first use (last night) several sections tore away from lead line. I have been throwing nets for 30 years and I know they tear if you are not cautious but in my opinion this tore way to easily. I am a little disappointed but repaired it with some braided line and hope it stays in tact. Maybe this was just a defect but I would pay attention if you get one.

Words of advice. Before you ever get this net wet, superglue every knot on the lead line. Otherwise every knot will loosen or untie leaving you with constant repairs.

This is my 3rd Betts, Different nets for different fish and water, all great quality.

Nice but not the net i wanted I wanted the one with the band sewn in the bottom I thought all the deep hole nets had tape woven in because all my others did I guess i had to buy the super pro deep hole net to get that

Works good, taped it for deep holing
