This is an elegant, but very easy to make dress pattern.

This pattern is most definitely very easy as stated on the packaging. It is a joy to make and I am very pleased with it, cant wait to wear it ;) 10/10

I ended up ordering the size group L,XL, XXL which did not have size M pattern that I wanted. Information on back of pattern is confusing. I thought I was ordering sizes xs to xxl as information indicated the dress lengths of material required for ALL sizes. The front of the packet I received actually shows very clearly whether you have bought Y or ZZ and the corresponding sizes. The picture of front of package on website does not show this anywhere; no indication that you are buying only the larger sizes. So not as easy as it looked. I had to cut down the pattern as close to a medium size as I could but still the armholes came out too big and the bust was overgenerous, even with a generous seem allowance. I should have sent the pattern back and re-ordered but not sure where to find the site for this dress with smaller sizes. I wouldn't recommend this pattern for real beginners. It looks easy enough at first glance but some instructions are not very clear. For instance setting side pockets in the seams is not the easiest of things to do and the instructions were, I felt, a bit confusing. I am not a novice but I had never done side pockets before and had to make several attempts (lots of unpicking) to line pockets up perfectly. To be honest, I have worked with easier patterns with better instructions. Not a complete loss the dress hangs well but could have looked a lot better had I started with the right size pattern.

I've not made this up yet but I had a dress with a similar design which was very flattering.

I think.you would need to be a size zero for this to look good...easy to.mske, but really unflattering

Easy to use pattern and the directions are very clear. Supper cute and comfortable dress!
