Skil20V 6-1/2 Inch Cordless Circular Saw Includes 2.0Ah PWR CORE 20 Lithium Battery and Charger - CR540602

I've used this saw several times at places with no electricity and it works great. Plenty of power. Lightweight. I'm only making at most 20 or so cuts at a time, and battery us still strong. Perfect for small jobs around the house. Rather used this saw instead of my corded version.

I’m just an amateur DIY’er Dad but most of my small tool collection was Milwaukee. Milwaukee is still one of the best but man they’re stuff is just super pricey, especially in these times. I bought a Skil impact drill and was impressed. I decided to give the circular saw a try. I’ve had it for almost a year now and I use it constantly! The batteries last a while and the quality seems great! It’s super user friendly. I want to keep adding to my Skil collection.

My ONLY complaint is that the fact of having to turn the bolt to change blades in the opposite direction than normal should be in bold letters on the front of the box description.No complaints on the saw itself. GREAT product at a GREAT price???

Works for what I need it to - good for cutting plywood and single 2x4s. Anything larger and this saw will struggle even with the 4 aH batteries

For the price, this is a good saw for the DIYer who might use it a half dozen times a year. If you’re going to use it a lot or for long periods of time you’ll probably want a beefier saw with a better battery and/or 2 batteries. The maximum cut depth is about 2.25 inches which is good enough for me to cut 2x4s or deck planks. I like the brake, the blade stops the instant you release the trigger.

It clearly says inside the package a "hex Allen wrench" but there was none in my box. Now I have to go buy a Allen wrench just so I can install the saw blade.

Only will cut about 4 2x4 and battery will die.

The media could not be loaded.  Me gusto esta sierra circular de 20v por su buen precio, la calidad y el diseño, lo que no me gusto es que no hay la opción para pedirla con una bateria de mayor capacidad ya que viene con una de 2ha, yo la utilizare para el diseño de muebles sobre medida, espero poder dar mi opinión del desempeño despues
