Music Stand Attachment (MSA30-BK)

This is a really well built piece of kit - the quality is very impressive especially for the price. The problem is that it's so well built that it's very heavy so puts the mic stand in danger of toppling over unless I put a weight on the legs. And unfortunately it also tends to make the plattern to the right by 15 degrees or so. It's not often that we have to complain about something being too high quality so I feel a little unfair making these criticisms. Perhaps my mic stand is too thin for the grip and a wider diameter might help the canting problem, but I have no way of telling. My final problem with the music stand is my fault so I haven't deducted any stars for it, but thought I'd better mention it in case anybody else makes the same mistake. I thought it was landscape orientation and it's portrait, so if you are singing from a book or need to be able to see multiple pages this will be too narrow.

Despite what some of the comments against this product might say, there is no way of clipping it to our Yamaha drum kit, therefore it will need to be returned at our expense. The description should make it clearer that it can only be clipped to vertical poles of a specified diameter.

Maybe swap round where the vertical pivot knob is for better access to it (rather than having it at the side nearest the stand that you're clipping it to). Or maybe I just put it together wrong to begin with.A small lip to prevent things slipping off the bottom would be a nice option - or holes on the bottom lip so that you can slot a pencil in there to do the same thing.Ideal option would have been a ball joint pivot, so that it could be used in landscape mode (with a lip at the side) but I appreciate that would make it a different product.

I needed something to tidy up my PA set up and the music stand attachment is perfect. Having measured my small mixing desk I found the stand was the ideal size. When it arrived I found it to be much better than expected. My mixing desk sits on it without a problem and it attached very sturdily to my mike stand. Highly recommended

Very good, actually using the hlaf parts from this to connect a harmonica to a mic stand cause I couldn't find a harmonica mic stand attachment for less than an arm and a leg. Good strong grip with a soft rubbery thing holding the harmonica is perfect for me. Also use it for holding sheet music as it is designed to do. Works great for that too. Very happy and would recommend
