This light meter is very good. It is easy to use and it gave me the results I needed for my light study. I would recommend this to others if they needed a quality light meter

Lasted 61 months and worked acceptably during that time. Kept it in its zip bag with the provided screwdriver and got satisfactory performance until I didnt this year at the start of the vegetable gardening season. Now reads a constant value which will not change. Too bad, but it did last five years...

Very easy to put put together. Digital backlight bright. Very happy w this purchase and black organization pouch. It comes with it own screwdriver. I screw is tiny, set up your space before assembly. Customer service is prompt and responsive.

Did what I needed it to do. Measure light output from a sign that my city told me was out of code. We seemed to have worked it out but I was glad to be able to do my own test for a fair price.

Appears to be reading about 50% of the correct value, compared with a professionally calibrated professional Minolta light meter. It also reads about 55,000 lux (meter oriented normal to the sun) in direct sunlight at 11:00AM (maybe the atmospheric attenuation is large), which should be about 110,000 lux or so. Even direct compares inside a room are off by a factor of 2. It is way way way off but repeatable. I noticed NONE of the views before used actual numbers to evaluate the accuracy of this device! Once we get a full moon in a clear sky, I will try measuring the illuminance again, and it should be 0.25 lux.

At noon in full sunlight at 6000 feet in New Mexico, when held normal to the sun, it measures 104,200 lux, which is accurate. The temperature sensor is a few degrees off though. When you turn it off and back on, it does not remember which temperature unit it was last set to and defaults to Celsius. All of the other functions seem to work well. It can also be zeroed out for more accurate low light measurements. This device measures lux, not lumens!

Habe es zur Luxmessung zwecks Korrelation mit der PV-Anlage. Schön weiter Messbereich. Über 200 000 Lux waren erforderlich. Geeicht oder nicht, geringe Unschärfen spielen in meinem Fall keine Rolle.
